Pelagos is an expressive mixed-media art print centred on a luminous blue eye emerging from a richly layered surface. Turquoise, cobalt, black and white gather around the iris, interrupted by warm coral and earthy tones that intensify the contrast between the eye and its surroundings.
Dense areas of pigment, exposed brushwork, fine linear patterns and cracked textures move across the composition, shifting between the organic and the abstract. Within them, the blue-grey iris carries an almost aquatic depth, while the surrounding marks seem to expand beyond the boundaries of the face.
