Catarse is an expressive surreal art print centred on a solitary eye emerging from layers of coral, turquoise, rust and earthy pigment. Around it, clusters of translucent forms rise through the painted surface like bubbles, cells or suspended droplets, blurring the boundary between body, water and emotion.
Dense texture and fluid colour give the work an almost visceral quality, as though something held beneath the surface were beginning to move, dissolve and finally find release. The eye remains present within that transformation — watchful, exposed and intensely alive.
Moving between abstraction and the recognisable, Catarse explores release not as a clean or instantaneous act, but as something physical and layered: an accumulation becoming movement, and movement becoming space.
